Medicine Buddha (Tib. Sanggye Menlha) is the supreme healer. Often depicted as lapis-lazuli blue in color, with a monk's bowl filled with elixir of deathlessness in his right hand and a branch of the myrobalan tree he is said to dwell in a pureland in the eastern direction. Connecting to the blessing-energies of Medicine Buddha can promote inner and outer health, purify negative karma and lead to rebirth in his eastern pureland. He is the patron deity of healers and physicians. On the reverse of this pendant is the mantra of Medicine Buddha with the seed-syllable hung in the center. 1.25" diameter, comes with a red cord.
